AIR-DEFENCE REPAIR TRAILER 1/S

The air defense repair trailer made it possible to carry out repairs on air defense components, such as missile systems, anti-aircraft guns, and other equipment, in the field. 

A missile has sensitive components, and the workshop trailers adapted for this type of repair needed to be maintained as a "clean room." This meant that the trailer had to be kept dust-free on the inside (a vacuum cleaner was part of the equipment), and the personnel were provided with protective clothing and plastic covers for their hair and shoes (as a complement to the field uniform). 

The museum's specimen lacks large parts of the original equipment.
