The Bv 203B is a radio carrier vehicle with an insulated rear compartment that is equipped for communication services. Using this vehicle, communication between different units was managed during field operations.

The tracked vehicle is classified as an oversnow vehicle, which means it can operate in deep snow without sinking. Additionally, it is amphibious, allowing it to be used in water.
