20 AKAN M/40-70 MT

Bofors Automatic gun M/40 was refurbished, modified, and equipped with the Reflex Sight 308.
These cannons were given the suffix "-70" because the upgrade took place in the mid-1970s, hence 20 mm AKAN m/40-70. 

The cannon was used in infantry, air defense, and artillery as both an anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun. 
It had a rate of fire of 370 rounds per minute and a range of 5 km.

This gun, like the original M/40, was mounted on vehicles, trailers, ships, and also used in fixed installations. Some mounts (gun supports) were mobile, and when dismounted, both the gun and the mount could be carried. 

Sights and mounts were manufactured and modified based on how the 20 mm AKAN m/40-70 would be used. The designation of the equipment was supplemented with numbers or letters to specify the features of that particular variant. For example, the 20 mm AKAN m/40-70-2 is equipped with a mirror reflex sight.

DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS AND OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS REFLEX 80 RED AND WHITE RESPECTIVELY BEEN INSTALLED INSTEAD OF REFLEX 150 RED AND WHITE RESPECTIVELY. REAR: TOW HOOK 1 B, DISTANCE TO THE NEAREST AXLE IS 0,75 M. THE GUN IS EQUIPPED WITH DELTA SIGHT.
